The advantages of a fully automated sawing line are constant and high: productivity, quality and deployability. This results in an excellent Overall Equipment Effectiveness OEE score.
Because every project and situation requires a different approach, Bewo has different levels of automation, so that we can find the right balance between investment and the need for process automation.
Level 1
Each line consists of an automated sawing unit with an automatic tube feed, automatic saw and discharge table, most movements are controlled by a servo motor. The operator can easily set up the machine and focus on the logistical tasks surrounding the sawing process.
Level 2
By combining other operations in 1 process line, individual operations can be performed one after the other fully automatically. No more intermediate steps to deburr, wash or measure the profiles, etc.
The number of actions required is limited. And quality is also increased by excluding human error.
Level 3
Possibilities to have the line set up almost completely automatically when the type of product is changed saves time and prevents errors. This allows the operator to focus on other tasks, often 1 operator operates multiple lines at the same time, while they have a high capacity.
Level 3+
For quick and 100% length checks of your products. Each product is measured and any products out of tolenace will be individually separted. Additionally, products can be marked or coded for full traceability. Smart software makes it possible to streamline different orders. Jobs can be prepared based on work preparation.
Using a scanner connected to the cutting line, the right job can be linked to the right bundle using a barcode. Even tools can be provided with a barcode to prevent errors in use. A label printer or laser marking ensures that the product flow and traceability are guaranteed.
